So, I'm currently testing a few things on the site. One I'm correcting some html mistakes, and fixing them to help the site in general load a little better, especially for those who want to use a phone/tablet, etc.
However the chat rooms on the other hand because the site is using a very outdated chat setup, it's pretty much hard to fix the issues of the actual chat rooms loading properly in that fashion. Trust me, I've been tweaking things a lot over the years. When the site was updated the last time it messed up the html, to where the " won't longer work without jumbling things. I fixed a new avatar creator on the site to help reflect that change for those who are struggling with it. At least it helps get it off to the right start and anyone can tweak the code it gives of course as well.
Here is a list of changes to expect to see
1. As I pointed out in a previous post, the Save Name feature will be fixed. It's currently working on the SLC Test Room. Once done it will as well save the Message Prefix as well. Once I'm confident it's working, I'll update the codes to the rooms entrances. I'll be trying to update this feature in the actual rooms as well. For now it does save in regards of the entrance door at least.
2. The Toobox option in the rooms is being updated a little. Colors, etc. With the update it will also have two image posting buttons. One for posting non-animated and one for animated. I'm still trying to figure out what the best size for posting in the rooms. Currently I have it at 400 height image for the non, and the animated I have it set at 300 height limit. Regarding the images maybe too small for some, well that will be taken care of as well. For those who want to see the images in its full size, you simply just click on the image and it will open it up in a new tab/window. The reason behind the change is to simply help with some of those images that get posted that is HUGE and take over the rooms, Of course this won't fix that situation if someone posts their own codes of course. Avatars won't see any changes...just images that is posted using the toolbox option.
3. Some of the html on the site is a bit outdated, I'm fixing some of that up. The reason for that is the more browsers, etc get updated the more it looks not so great when loading. The logo on the site at least for the Users Online page for now, should load on most if not all type of screens.
4. Again, minor tweaks, but I also updated the users online page to have a different mouse over pop up feature that shows the room owner and a small description of the room. I think it looks a little more clean, but I'm open to ideas. Let me know.
5. The test room will be revamped, to directly look like the other rooms going forward. I haven't made this change yet but I will. Though keep in mind if you are a room owner and like the message area where it is, at the bottom instead of the top, that feature can be put into your room, upon request of course.
