SLC News & Updates / PUBLIC BETA TESTING IS NOW OPEN![
« Last post by David on October 25, 2026, 07:48:48 PM »Hello everyone!
As some of you may know, I've been working on a new chat server, which was previously introduced privately to a few users. I'm now opening it up for PUBLIC BETA TESTING!
I've made a few chat rooms available so everyone can come in, look around, chat, explore the new features, and get a feel for how everything works.
⚠️ PLEASE REMEMBER — THIS IS A BETA!
The new chat server is still under development and is NOT a finished product. Expect bugs, glitches, missing features, and occasional issues.
Things may change, break, or require restarts as I continue making improvements. Your patience and understanding during this process are appreciated.
🐛 BUG REPORTS, SUGGESTIONS & FEEDBACK
This is where I'd really appreciate everyone's help!
If you discover bugs, experience problems, or have suggestions for new features or improvements, please let me know. I'm interested in hearing both the good and the bad!
If you have an idea or feature suggestion, please be as detailed as possible.
Explain what you'd like to see, how you think it should work, and what purpose it would serve. This will help me better understand your suggestion and determine whether it's possible to implement.
For bug reports, please explain what happened and what you were doing when the issue occurred.
While I can't promise every suggestion will be added, I'll certainly consider your ideas as development continues.
I've put a lot of time and effort into this project, and there's still plenty more to do. My goal is to create something everyone can enjoy, and your feedback will help make that possible.

And I run my size a 90% so I understand some of the differences.

General Discussion / the in room text box
« Last post by Rain on September 13, 2026, 03:00:06 AM »hello there david
so i am on my laptop today (sunday) and ive never noticed much before..but the top part seems quite..small?
https://i.gyazo.com/064a799f4fe50fcead03350ac9f5255d.png
i do admit i use my screen zoom at 80% instead of 100% ..but thats mostly because people wear larger avs these days..so i zoom it out to 80% so avs dont take my whole laptop screen up.
i know you were after some tips or ways to improve things like this? .. maybe have just this top part bigger..or even the text box to be able to click and drag to make it larger..especially if we're going to have rp rooms..people need larger boxes to type in
thanks !

SLC News & Updates / Forbidden Error
« Last post by David on August 22, 2026, 11:03:04 AM »Just a quick heads-up: Some of you may have encountered a **“Forbidden” error** when trying to access certain rooms. I apologize for the inconvenience!
I was adding some new permissions to the site, and an unnecessary file was accidentally added that prevented some users from accessing certain rooms.
The issue has now been **corrected**, and everything should be working normally again.
Sorry for the trouble, everyone, and thank you for your patience!
